Centara Appoints Sarah Randall as Head of MICE Services

Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Ms Sarah Randall as Head of MICE services, corporate sales and marketing.

Sarah is a British national with 14 years’ experience in sales and event management, ranging from hospitality through to fixed venue management and corporate events.

Holding a BA Hons in film studies from Falmouth College of Arts in the UK, Sarah began her career as an events coordinator and then spent five years as events manager with Compass UK Leisure in the UK, with particular expertise in the aerospace sector, high society and sporting events in Europe and Asia.

She moved to the Fat Duck Group in 2008, where she worked with celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal as functions and events manager, developing the brand for the corporate business sector.

Sarah later became accounts executive at First Protocol in London, where she continued her aerospace involvement and also developed an expertise in the corporate finance and management sector, organising events for some of the world’s leading private equity firms and aero defence companies.

Sarah joins Centara Hotels & Resorts from First Protocol, and will be based at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, in Bangkok.
