Mvenpick has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Thailand with the opening of the 50-room Mvenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui.

The resort overlooks several tropical islands in the Gulf of Thailand and is located on the northwest coast of Koh Samui.

Tossapol Satitwittayakul, Executive Director of the Thana Group, the hotels owning company said, I look forward to our partnership with Mvenpick and seeing this idyllic beachfront property benefit from the companys high quality operating standards and access to new markets. The beautiful sunsets on the beach and surrounding green hills make Mvenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui one of the islands most romantic boutique resorts, a reputation we would like to grow further.

Guests of the resort will be able to enjoy beachfront dining with a choice of both Thai and international specialities at The Terrace restaurant, while The Deck bar offers cocktails to enjoy around one of three swimming pools.

The resort is located 30 minutes from Samui International Airport.
