Mövenpick has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Thailand with the opening of the 50-room Mövenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui.

The resort overlooks several tropical islands in the Gulf of Thailand and is located on the northwest coast of Koh Samui.

Tossapol Satitwittayakul, Executive Director of the Thana Group, the hotel’s owning company said, “I look forward to our partnership with Mövenpick and seeing this idyllic beachfront property benefit from the company’s high quality operating standards and access to new markets. The beautiful sunsets on the beach and surrounding green hills make Mövenpick Resort Laem Yai Beach Samui one of the island’s most romantic boutique resorts, a reputation we would like to grow further.”

Guests of the resort will be able to enjoy beachfront dining with a choice of both Thai and international specialities at The Terrace restaurant, while The Deck bar offers cocktails to enjoy around one of three swimming pools.

The resort is located 30 minutes from Samui International Airport.
