Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa to Open September 2014

Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in September 2014.

Owned by Summit Windmill Corporation, the resort will feature a professional course designed by golfing legend, Nick Faldo. The resort is a short 15-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and a 40-minute drive to Bangkok city centre.

Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa will have 223 guestrooms, including 22 Grande Suites and one Presidential Suite.

Rooms will feature a blacony with uninterrupted views of the golf course; Le Méridien signature bed; a state-of-the art entertainment system; seamless internet connectivity; and a bathroom featuring separate showers and oversized bathtubs.

The hotel’s expansive 740-square metre meeting and function space will efficiently accommodate major international conferences, weddings and other large gatherings while its inspiring outdoor venues will be the perfect place for creative events or team building.

Golfers will be able to enjoy playing a round of golf at the resort’s premier 18-hole golf course, Summit Windmill Golf Club. With scenic lakes, overlapping hills and sand bunkers strategically placed throughout the fairways, the course reflects the vision of Nick Faldo, who aspired to bring golfers a challenging and pleasurable experience – both day and night.

Other resort facilities will include a variety of restaurants; a Le Méridien Explore Spa, a serene space for rejuvenation with 11 treatment rooms; a well-equipped fitness centre; the Le Méridien Kids’ Club to keep young guests engaged with an array of activities; and an infinity pool.

To celebrate the opening, Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is offering travelers an exclusive introductory package: ‘Discovery Awaits’, which features Le Méridien’s signature breakfast for two; complimentary in-room high speed internet access and complimentary roundtrip airport shuttle service. Rates start from THB 4,333+++ per room for the Grand Deluxe room; the package is available for stays from 1 September 2014 to 31 March 2015.

For golf enthusiasts, the resort offers a ‘Bangkok Golf Vacation’ package. Starting from THB 6,100+++, the package includes Le Méridien’s signature breakfast for one person; a daily round of golf per person, including the caddie fee; and complimentary late check-out at 16:00 (subject to availability). The package is valid from 1 September 2014 until 31 March 2015.
