Peach Aviation is to launch flights between Okinawa (Naha) and Hong Kong.

Services are scheduled to start on the Okinawa (Naha) – Hong Kong route from 21 February 2015 through 28 March 2015 with four round-trip flights a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

Ticket sales begin today, 26 November 2014.

Representative Director & CEO, Shinichi Inoue, said, “I am very pleased that we are able to open a route between Okinawa (Naha) and Hong Kong. This will be our second international route from Naha Airport, following our Okinawa (Naha) to Taipei (Taoyuan) route which began services in September 2013. The commencement of services on this Hong Kong route also brings expectations of expanded inbound traffic from various Asian countries focusing on Hong Kong and its neighboring areas. I am convinced that further increases in the number of visitors to Okinawa will bring economic effects to the islands in various ways. We will continue to expand our business, particularly for international routes, with Okinawa (Naha) Airport as a hub and make continuous efforts to contribute to the achievement of the ten million tourists that Okinawa prefecture is aiming to bring in by 2021. ”

The Okinawa (Naha) – Hong Kong route will become the seventh international route for Peach and it will be the company’s second international route from Okinawa, the second hub for Peach after Kansai Airport, following the Taipei (Taoyuan) route.
