Thailand-based Variety Hotels, sister company of The Unique Collection of Hotels & Resorts, has added the Wanaburee Resort Kao Lak to its portfolio.

Situated on the edge of a rainforest and secluded beach, Wanaburee offers 34 rooms, suites and villas ranging from 40 to 102 sqm, all of which are dotted around the resort’s exotic tropical gardens and lagoon.

The resort, only a one hour drive from Phuket International Airport, features 2 swimming pools, 2 restaurant and bar outlets, as well as a full service spa and library.

Guests can also enjoy activities outside the property such as an adventure tour or sightseeing trip in and around the Phang Nga province with numerous national parks protecting the virgin rainforests, ancient caves, thriving coral and pristine beaches can be found.

Also popular are the scuba diving trips to the Similan Islands, a group of stunning islands widely regarded as one of top 10 dive sites in the world.

“We are very happy to welcome The Wanaburee Resort to Variety Hotels as our first property in Phang Nga, and we look forward to continuing to offer our guests a wide choice of destinations and memorable experiences” said Jonathan Kreuter, Director of Marketing Communications for both The Unique Collection of Hotels & Resorts and Variety Hotels.

Variety Hotels now manages a total of 11 hotels and resorts in Thailand in destinations including Bangkok, Hua Hin, Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Tao.
