Chef Roy Joins Impact as Executive Chef

Impact Exhibition Management has appointed Mr. Ng Wai Meng, or Chef Roy as he is commonly known, as Executive Chef of Kitchen Department.

Chef Roy has over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. He has worked with many 5-star hotels, clubs, spas and airline catering, including: The Royal Holiday Inn, The Dynasty Hotel, Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa, The Meridien Orchard Hotel, The Tanglin Club and The Cricket Club, TRIA integrated wellness (Bangkok).

For the past decade he has worked in airline catering, working with providers like Macro-Asia Sats in Manila, Guangzhou Nanland Servair Catering in China and LSG Sky Chefs in Kazakhstan.

Impact Exhibition Management operates 20 restaurants including 8 restaurants inside the exhibition center in Nonthaburi, just north of Bangkok. The 8 restaurants are Hong Kong Fisherman, Hong Kong Café, Terrazza Restaurant and Bar, Bistro De Champagne, Manorah Thai restaurant, Noodle Nation, FlannO’Brien’s Irish Pub and Taisho-Tei Ramen.

The 12 restaurants outside the exhibition center include Hong Kong Suki at Sukhothai Avenue 99, Flann O’Brien’s Irish Pub at Asiatique The Riverfront, Silom and Eight Thonglor, Hong Kong Fisherman Café at K Village on Sukhumvit 26, Ito-Kacho at Nihonmura Mall on Thonglor 13, Tsubohachi at Nihonmura Mall, BEE HIVE Lifestyle Mall, Muang Thong Thani, Nihonmachi Japanese Mall on Sukhumvit 26 and Thaniya, Silom and Monarah Royal Cuisine at The Grand Postal Building in Bangrak district.
