ANA is to introduce the Boeing 787 onto two new
international routes, bringing the number of overseas destinations
it serves with the Dreamliner to eight.
From this autumn, ANA will begin flying the 787
from Tokyo Narita to Munich and Singapore and will also
re-introduce the aircraft on its Narita-Seattle route.
ANA’s 787 already serves routes from Tokyo
to Frankfurt, San Jose, Beijing, Taipei and Shanghai.
The increase in 787 flights is part of an
international expansion plan that will also see ANA double the
number of flights between Narita and Chicago to 14 a week to meet
the growth in demand for connections between Asia and North
America.
In addition, ANA is introducing a larger sized
aircraft onto services between Narita and Shanghai.
These changes will take place from following
dates: Chicago and Munich from 1 September 2013 Seattle from
20 September 2013 Shanghai from 30 September 2013 Singapore
from 1 October 2013.
