Management Agreement for Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Terminated

Hilton Worldwide's management agreement with Sun Travels & Tours in relation to Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi has been terminated, with effect from 3 May 2013.

Accordingly, the owner of the hotel, Sun Travels & Tours, is now managing the property, and as such the hotel will no longer be a part of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio, the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, nor the Hilton HHonors program.

A statement issued by Hilton, said, "The cessation of Hilton Worldwide’s management of that resort was unforeseen and due to factors outside its control."

Hilton Worldwide still manages the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island in the Maldives.
