Jin Jiang International Hotels Appoints New CEO

Following the departure of Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bernold Schroeder, Mr. Simon Zhang, the former CEO of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Development will assume the role of CEO at Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company.

Schroeder served as the CEO of Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company since 2011, during which time he has been responsible for all aspects of the company's star-rated portfolio and establishing and executing its operation plan while directing the strategy and mission of the company.

Simon Zhang has over 20 years of experience in hotel management and F&B operations. He said, I am very honored to be appointed this role and I will try my best to continue driving the strategic direction of the company and to further enhance the companys operational efficiency and brand awareness.

Mr. Yang Weimin, Vice Chairman and CEO of Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels (Group) Co., Ltd. said, Under Bernold's leadership he successfully brought the company forward through a time of unparalleled positive change. He is a devoted hotelier who channeled his passion into building a strong business platform and significantly strengthening the domestic operations of the company. On behalf of the board members at Jin Jiang International Hotels and its employees, I thank Bernold for his dedicated work and his valuable contributions to the company during his time. Though we are sad with his departure, we wish him the very best for his future endeavors. With the great foundation that has already been built, we are confident that Simon will continue to take the company to the next level of great achievement.
