Helicopters - a subsidiary of Oboronprom, part of State
Corporation Rostec - has elected Rostec Deputy CEO, Vladimir Artyakov, as the board's Chairman.
“Today, Russian Helicopters is a leading
helicopter producer on the global marketplace and number one by
sales of military attack helicopters, with a firm order backlog of
more than 350 billion rubles,” said Artyakov. “The company’s
priorities for the next few years are to enter the global capital
markets, and to increase our global market share up to 20 per cent
by strengthening our positions in the CIS, China, India, the
Middle East, Africa and Latin America, as well as other regions.”
Dmitry Lelikov, CEO of Oboronprom, was elected
Deputy Chairman of the Board of Russian Helicopters. Also elected
to the board were: Dmitry Petrov, CEO of Russian Helicopters;
Alexander Mikheev, Deputy CEO of Rosoboronexport; Pavel Osin,
First Deputy CEO of Oboronprom; Shiv Khemka, Vice Chairman of SUN
Group; Jean-Paul Béchat, Honorary President of GIFAS, the French
aerospace industries association; Jean-Luc Picard, independent
aerospace and defence consultant; and Vladimir Litvin, head of
Rostec’s Department of Corporate Procedures and Property.
