Jasmin Lim Appointed General Manager of Dorsett Cheras

Jasmin Lim has been appointed as the General Manager of Dorsett Cheras.

With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and travel agency sales, Jasmin is set to lay the foundations for Dorsett Cheras’ pre-opening activities and strategic business planning.

Once the hotel is fully operational next year, she will also oversee the overall operations and performance of hotel.

Prior to joining Dorsett Cheras, Jasmin was the General Manager of Vivatel Kuala Lumpur, and has worked with Radius International Hotel, Kuala Lumpur; Pulai Springs Resort Berhad and Equatorial Bangi in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Jasmin holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Catering and Institutional from Middlesex University at Hendon.

Dorsett Cheras

Dorsett Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, owned by Mayland Group Malaysia, will have up to 319 rooms, a ballroom with an estimated capacity for up to 220 people which is dividable into two function space, an all-day dining facility which can seat up to 150 people and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is connected to Cheras Sentral, the latest shopping mall in the bustling township of Cheras, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur.

The Dorsett Cheras is scheduled to open in Q1 2014.
