Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) is now offering its customers BlueSky, an online booking tool (OBT) for mobile users.

BlueSky is designed to integrate all value-added services seamlessly into a single platform, offering an online booking tool in the form of a convenient mobile app.

In 2012, HRG signed a five-year deal with TravelSky Technology which grants HRG access to the full version of BlueSky - a software platform developed for corporate travellers consisting of a Computer Reservation System (CRS) and online booking tool.

The app is available across all mobile operating platforms such as Android, Apple, Windows and Blackberry.

Tests of the upgraded OBT with an international client showed that the app was very positively received and an adoption rate of 70% was achieved amongst users in the test group.

Director of Sales and Account Management at HRG China, Yates Fei, said, "The launch of the HRG online booking tool app highlights the ability of HRG to anticipate and address the needs of our clients - giving them access to an integrated booking system on the go. The current BlueSky platform that HRG provides on desktop computers is now available via the new mobile app, elevating the experience for the business traveller. This is in line with the global HRG strategy in relations to mobile customer solutions, where the provisions of localised solutions are available."
