Best Western has opened its first ever hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Located in the booming Gulf city of Al Khobar, the Best Western Plus Sand Rose Suite Hotel features 48 rooms and suites, and a range of facilities designed for both business and family travellers.

The guestrooms include 12 hotel rooms and 36 luxurious suites, which range from 70-150m.

The Junior Suites are ideal for couples, while the two-bedroom Executive Suites cater for mid-size families. The larger Panorama Suites offer two bedrooms with a separate living and dining area and kitchenette, and the expansive Royal Suites feature three bedrooms, a large living and dining space, kitchenette and an extra guest bathroom.

All rooms and suites include complimentary Wi-Fi and offer panoramic views across the glittering city skyline, the thriving corniche or the azure waters of the Gulf.

Best Western Plus Sand Rose Suite Hotel also features a fully-equipped business centre, while a swimming pool and fitness centre are available for those wanting to unwind.

A rooftop restaurant offers daily complimentary sunrise breakfast, Mediterranean dining throughout the day and night and, of course, sublime panoramic views.

Glenn de Souza, Best Western Internationals Vice President International Operations Asia & the Middle East, This is a momentous occasion for Best Western International. The opening of the Best Western Plus Sand Rose Suite Hotel marks not only the addition of another superb hotel to our portfolio, but also our entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With many more hotels planned, we expect this booming country to become a key member of our global family.

Located in Saudi Arabias main oil producing region, Eastern Province, the prosperous city of Al Khobar is seeing a swell of development, with the waterfront corniche featuring cosmopolitan parks, cafes and restaurants. The city is served by the King Fahd International Airport and linked directly to Bahrain via the 26km King Fahd Causeway, making it an ideal hub for regional business travel.
