Worldhotels has added two hotels to its
portfolio in the Americas.
Hotel Derek, a 314-room boutique hotel adjacent
to the Houston Galleria shopping mall in Houston, Texas joins the
Deluxe Collection.
The hotel, managed by Destination Hotels &
Resorts, features over 10,000 square feet of meeting space and one of the most popular restaurants in Houston, the
Valentino Vinbar Houston by famed restaurateurs Luciano Pellegrini
and Piero Selvaggio.
Also joining the Deluxe
Collection is the palatial Savoy Hotel Buenos Aires.
Built in
1910, the historic 164-room property is located in the heart of Argentina’s bustling capital city. Its
stylish façade and elegant décor is the backdrop to an alluring
mix of past and present hotel glamour, designed with a nod to
early 20th century European opulence.
Guestrooms
and suites are well-appointed with designer touches and luxury
bedding while all rooms feature a large desk area, complimentary
internet access and minibars.
The top floor includes 30
executive-level rooms with access to VIP services, an incredible
view of the city and a private lounge.
Fine
dining is available at Las Manzanas Restaurant that specialises in
Mediterranean and Argentinean cuisines, while drinks and hot brews
are served at the Imperio lobby bar, a stylish lounge decorated
with columns and chandeliers.
The Savoy Hotel is a
10-minute walk from the Obelisk and a short distance from the
National Congress Palace.
“The Savoy Hotel is not
only a spectacular property, it is ideally located near important
business and entertainment centres,” said Roland Jegge, Executive
Vice President of Asia Pacific for Worldhotels. “We believe this
prominent hotel will generate regional interest and growth
opportunities for our hotel group, as well as delight our
customers from around the world.”
