MCI has entered into a long term partnership with Messe Berlin (Singapore) to develop a conference program targeted at Corporate MICE buyers, which will be held concurrently with ITB Asia.

The previous editions of ITB Asia have seen a dominant attendance of buyers from the leisure travel sector, and this partnership will bring a new dimension to the show by attracting more corporate MICE buyers.

Mr. Robin Lokerman, President Asia Pacific, MCI said, MCI is delighted to partner with ITB Asia to develop a high level educational program for buyers of Corporate Meetings. ITB Asia is becoming one of the key meeting places for the Asia Pacific MICE industry and we look forward to bringing some of our clients from all over Asia to the show as Hosted Buyers.

ITB Asia 2012 will be held from 17-19 October 2012, and the MCI Corporate MICE Buyer Program will take place on 18 and 19 October 2012 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.

MCI expects its program to attract over 100 international top buyers each day.

Comprising two educational sessions, the forums will feature keynote speakers and panelists with a plethora of diverse experiences and perspectives on the evolving MICE landscape. Promising to be insightful, innovative and engaging, each forum is made up of keynote speeches and interactive round table discussions.

The Performance Improvement Forum will reveal how to deliver a credible and material ROI by designing and executing appropriate travel incentive programs; the Procurement Insight Forum analyses future challenges facing the procurement role by looking at the increasing importance of the procurement role and its current challenges.

Attendance to the Corporate MICE Buyer Program is complimentary for Hosted Buyers of MCI. In addition, attendees to the Corporate MICE Buyer Program will be invited to an exclusive dinner party hosted by MCI at W Singapore Sentosa Cove.
