Anantara Bangkok Riverside Celebrates Thai Cuisine with Thai Market Brunch

[See also: Pictures of  Thai Market Brunch Launch] The Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa has launched a Thai Market Brunch headed by celebrity Thai chef, Chumpol Jangprai (pictured below).

Guests can enjoy a vast assortment of traditional Thai favourites by making their selections from a variety of ‘food stalls’ with the majority of dishes cooked a la minute.

Wagyu beef sausages, imported oysters, Alaskan king crab, organic shrimp, kurobuta pork, delicious fresh vegetables from the Royal Projects, are just a few of the mouth watering dishes that guests can now enjoy.

Diners will also be able to meet and taste the specialties of guest chefs, with weekly signature dishes created and presented by the best local talent, regional gastronomy gurus and well known Thai master chefs, as well as media stars and celebrities.

As guests are welcomed at the entrance of The Market they are offered a refreshing drink from an ancient style sugar cane juice machine, or one of the freshest Thai coconuts.

The tea juggling artist performs his acrobatic skills while guests are seated either inside to enjoy the air conditioning and sounds of the Thai pop band, or at an outside table overlooking the river.

The Thai Market Brunch entertainment, takes centre stage as the talented local band performs famous contemporary Thai pop songs on an upper level indoor terrace.

The Thai Market Sunday Brunch is priced at THB 1,400 per person, including free flow soft drinks, fresh coconuts, sugar cane juice, herbal drinks and juices, Thai tea and coffee, and at THB 1,800 per person with the additions of free flow beer and Thai wines.

For younger guests a special rate of THB 500 per child is offered for those between 4 to 12 years of age and additionally includes access to the children’s club, children below the age of 4 can enjoy the brunch for free.

Prices are subject to 10% service charge and applicable government tax. Terms and conditions apply.
