FCm Travel Solutions has appointed Katie Thomas, who is based in FCm’s UK office in London, and currently oversees the company’s eCommerce division, as the new Global Product Manager Traveller Services.

Katie will be focusing on leading product development, management and support for traveller technology solutions and services for FCm globally. These products include FCm’s suite of traveller technology such as the customer web portal (ClientPortal), global profile management services and global traveller mobile applications (FCmobile).

“As part of the role I’ll be developing a more comprehensive roadmap for the future development of our client-facing technology products and services with a view to enhancing our existing portfolio through improvements and innovation,” Katie said. “I’ll also be looking at establishing more support and implementation teams in key product areas to handle on-going product implementation, support, and development globally. My initial focus however will be to start working with various FCm countries around the world to further streamline our traveller profile data consistency.”

Katie has worked in the corporate travel industry for more than 13 years and is a recipient of the ‘Young Manager of the Year’ award by the British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame.

Reporting to FCm’s Global Technology Leader in the USA John Morhous, Katie will be working closely with FCm’s global online team, portal web developers and operations teams around the network.
