Etihad Airways has appointed Mr Lindsay White as Regional General Manager for Asia Pacific South and Australasia.

Mr. White takes over from Cramer Ball who has been seconded to Air Seychelles, where he has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Mr White was previously Etihad Airways General Manager Australia and New Zealand, a position he has held since September 2008. Prior to that, he was Country Manager Malaysia.

He has over 30 years of aviation industry experience, having started his career as a sales executive with British Caledonian Airways in his native Scotland in 1982. Before joining Etihad Airways, he held senior management positions at Gulf Air and British Airways.

I very much look forward to overseeing Etihad Airways operations in the ASEAN region. The role is important in terms of streamlining activities across an area of huge and increasing importance to Etihad Airways, said Mr White. I look forward both to working with our industry partners across the region and to ensuring that Etihad Airways delivers the highest standards of customer service in this region.
