Best Western Signs Hotel in Melaka

Best Western has signed a new hotel in the historic city of Melaka in Malaysia.

 The 300-room project, scheduled to open in 2013, is situated in Ayer Keroh, the Melaka Trade Centre which is a modern business development with several international and local food & beverage outlets.

 The five-star hotel will open as a Best Western Premier hotel with a large banquet facility, entertainment outlets, corporate offices and banks. The nearby area is also surrounded by a hypermarket, a water theme park, the citys bus terminal and the Malaysia International Trade Centre (MITC).

Along with the well-established tourist flow Melaka already enjoys, the growing MICE sector in Malaysia will be a key focus for the new Best Western Premier. The hotels prime location within such a dynamic and high profile development as the Melaka Trade Centre positions it perfectly for this. The hotels extensive meeting, banquet and catering facilities provide untold opportunities for MICE organizers.
