Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Thursday, 8 December 2011

The Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah has added a brand new fitness centre to its roster of amenities, responding to demand from guests for state-of-the-art machines and treadmills to complete their daily workouts.

The beach resort caters to both corporate and leisure clientele, and, according to Jean-Pierre Simon, general manager Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah and Northern Emirates, the 21st century drive towards personal fitness has been reflected across both guest sector profiles.

“Where once health clubs were a luxury in the hotel business, to compete we now have to offer the very best facilities for all our guests, both those visiting for business wishing to wind-down after a day in the city and holidaymakers who like to combine a restful beach stay with a daily trip to the gym,” he said.

The new fitness centre is just part of the array of leisure facilities at the resort, which also features two outdoor pools, tennis court, table tennis and volleyball, watersports and a spa with an array of relaxing massages such as Ayurvedic, Thai, Dead Sea Mud and Massage on the beach, as well as access to an extensive sand beach.

Also available at the Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah is a feast of menu options from poolside lunches, theme dinners and Italian specialties, to bistro juices and mocktails and afternoon café teas.

In addition, the 156-room hotel has a host of meeting facilities designed to alleviate executive stress, offering conference rooms with natural daylight and garden-views as well small and large garden event areas, ideal for team-building exercises or special banquets.
