 Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) has appointed 
			  Freddy Ong as Chief Operating Officer and Dr Sonja Luz as Deputy 
			  Director. Mr. Ong has over 20 years of experience in the 
			  hospitality industry. Prior to joining WRS, Freddy was the Chief 
			  Operating Officer of Spinelli Pte Ltd, where he was responsible 
			  for business development, franchising, wholesale and retail 
			  operations for the Spinelli Coffee chain. Before joining Spinelli, 
			  Freddy was the General Manager of Starbucks Coffee Singapore. Dr Sonja Luz will rejoin WRS as 
			  Deputy Director, Conservation, Research & Learning Centre on 14 
			  November 2011.  Dr Sonja is well-known to most WRS staff as she 
			  served as a key member in the veterinary department from 2003 – 
			  2009. In 2009, Dr Sonja left WRS and set-up her own firm (CCSC 
			  Veterinary Consultancy SEA) to work more intensively on wildlife 
			  conservation issues around the region. She also spent eight months 
			  as Director of the Al Wabra Wildlife Preservation in Qatar.  Dr Sonja’ s main task will be to provide the 
			  strategic direction for all WRS’ conservation and research 
			  projects. Additionally, she will spearhead the set-up of the 
			  future WRS Learning Centre.
