New DOSM @ Banyan Tree Bangkok

Mr. Tareq Bagaeen has been appointed as the new Director of Sales and Marketing at the Banyan Tree Bangkok.

In his role, Tareq will be responsible for delivering the top line of the hotel operations, through all activities involving Sales and Marketing planning, conceptualizing promotional and tactical strategies and overall accountability for the day-to-day communication of sales, revenue management and reservation forces in the hotel.

Tareq, who is of Italian and Jordanian decent, began his 10 year long career in the industry within Sales & Marketing and has worked in Europe, Middle East and Asia primarily with Ritz-Carlton and most recently at Grand Hyatt.

The 61-storey property is famed for its spa and also the open-air rooftop restaurant Vertigo Grill and Moon Bar which serves 360 degree panoramic views of the city.
