Stan Chau and Blondie Yeung Join Eaton Smart Hotel in HK

Eaton Smart, Hong Kong has appointed Mr. Stan Chau as Hotel Manager and Ms Blondie Yeung as Director of Communications.

 Mr. Chau has over 26 years’ experience in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining Eaton Smart, Hong Kong, he held several senior positions and was most recently the Director of Finance at Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport. Joining the Langham Hospitality Group in 2008, the hotel veteran oversaw the opening of the brand-new Langham Place, Beijing Capital Airport.

In his new role as Hotel Manager at Eaton Smart, Mr. Chau will assist the General Manager, Mr. Shane Pateman, managing the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring each customer touch point is on-brand and overseeing the hotel’s ongoing efforts to be sustainable both socially and environmentally.

Ms Blondie Yeung has been named Director of Communications at Eaton Smart, Hong Kong. Her responsibilities include overseeing all PR activities, media relations and marketing campaigns for the hotel.

A communications expert, Ms Yeung has worked for various hospitality brands, including Holiday Inn Golden Mile and New World Renaissance Hotel. Most recently, Ms Yeung held the position of Communications Manager for the Langham Hospitality Group, a role she had for five years.

In 2003, Ms Yeung was named Assistant Communications Manager for Eaton Smart, Hong Kong, two years later, she was promoted to Communications Manager.

After a five-year break, Ms Yeung now returns to Eaton Smart, Hong Kong.

“Having worked in Eaton Smart, Hong Kong, as well as the corporate office, I’m very familiar with the Eaton brand,” explained Ms Yeung. “Eaton Smart, Hong Kong has a lot of stories to tell and we look forward to giving these the media attention they deserve.”
