New General Manager @ Dusit Thani Bangkok

Mr. Alex Willats has been appointed as General Manager of the Dusit Thani Bangkok.

Prior to his appointment, Alex joined Dusit Thani Bangkok as Resident Manager accepting a dual role as the Acting General Manager a tenure which he held for the last six months.

A British national, Alex came to Dusit in October 2010 from the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he was Executive Assistant Manager with Radisson Hotels and also held a consulting role for a luxury resort The Al Areen Palace & Spa.

 He has more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry and has held senior management positions in some of the leading hotels in the UK, including The Ritz and Claridge's Hotel London.

Alex graduated with honors from the National Center for Hotel Management, South Bank University in London, UK, in 1995 with a degree in Hotel Management, and was awarded a scholarship to attend a Developing General Management Potential (DGMP) course at Cranfield University of Management in 2003.
