[HD video below] The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong has partnered one of the world's most celebrated event designers Preston Bailey for the launch of the bespoke one-of-a-kind HK$10 million [US$1.3 million] Dream Wedding Package.

Preston Bailey's design package will lead the wedding couple through an exploration of their dreams, the creation of those dreams and, at last, the experience of those dreams. Preston said, “My design process is theatrical; I use my design to tell the love story of the wedding couple.”

Preston and the wedding couples will collaborate on the creation of the overall design concept, selection of fabric and carpet, floral design, tabletop design, custom table linens, drapery, special decor items and lighting design concept. With Preston at the helm, no wedding dream is too big: anything is possible.

Pierre Perusset, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, said, “It’s our pleasure to collaborate with world-renowned Preston Bailey in creating this exquisite wedding package for our discerning wedding guests. Wedding couples nowadays place great emphasis not only on quality and refinement but more and more on the uniqueness of the wedding. Being the only hotel in Hong Kong to offer such a world-class and premium wedding product exemplifies our philosophy to go above and beyond guest expectations and to create memories for wedding couples and their guests that will truly last a lifetime.”

The wedding package also includes some exclusive experiences including flying First Class to Preston Bailey’s studio in New York and staying for two nights at The Ritz-Carlton, Central Park. The luxurious pampering during the preparation stage also includes a bachelorette party at the world’s highest hotel spa The Ritz-Carlton Spa by ESPA. On the big day, the couple and their guests will be able to savor a custom-made menu by one-star Michelin Chef Paul Lau from Tin Lung Heen, our Chinese Restaurant and an after-party at the world’s highest bar OZONE. During their two- night accommodation in The Ritz-Carlton Suite in Hong Kong, the couple will have 24-hour usage of the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The couple’s honeymoon is also well-taken care of with a four-night accommodation in the Royal Beach Villa at The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Phulay Bay featuring special amenities/services including a 24-hour butler during stay.

Preston Bailey commented about the collaboration, “I am extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and introduce my unique design to this discerning market. I am passionate about creating dreams and to bringing them to life for wedding couples.” He continued, “My first source of inspiration is always my client. I visualize the client’s dream. Next, my design team and I develop storyboards, renderings and samples of the complete visual concept to share with the client. We do this with the utmost care, because it is imperative that the client has a very clear understanding of what their entire event will look like. Only the guests should be surprised…never the host.”
