Conrad Bangkok Appoints Vincent Mercurio as GM

Mr. Vincent Mercurio has been appointed as General Manager of the Conrad Bangkok.

Mr. Mercurio was most recently the General Manager of The London West Hollywood in the United States.

Born in the United States, he has close to 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has worked in the United States, China, France, Indonesia, Dubai and Spain. He was Manager of Human Resources at Walt Disney Company (Disneyland Paris) and subsequently took up the role of Director of Human Resources for The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, The Ritz-Carlton Bali and The Ritz-Carlton Dubai.

Mr. Mercurio was Executive Assistant Manager of Hotel Arts in Barcelona before he was the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources and Operations for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. He held the position of Hotel Manager at The Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai and was General Manager for both The Ritz-Carlton Beijing and Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas prior to his appointment at The London West Hollywood.

Mr. Mercurio obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Program from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business (Chicago, Illinois and Barcelona, Spain), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Business and Foreign Languages (French and Italian) from the University of New York. He is also a certified facilitator of Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

Mr. Mercurio will report directly to Thomas Hoeborn, Regional General Manager – Thailand.
