Millennium & Copthorne is launching a childrens concierge service, Ask Alfred, at the Snowmens Glass House to celebrate the festive season.

The service includes a charity element, and in the spirit of giving, MCIL will also hold a special Christmas party on 9 Dec 2011, where they will invite Ask Alfred beneficiaries from Touch Community Services to celebrate with them.

This new service, which will roll out at all the hotels in Singapore from 9 December 2011, is an add-on service that guests can select when they book a room at any of MCILs Singapore hotels.

The childrens concierge service includes specially tailored features for child travellers, including childrens amenities and goodies such as jelly beans and ice cream when they arrive at the hotel. They will also receive a limited edition plush teddy bear from the famous London toy store Hamleys.

Parents will also receive a special parents guide that includes useful travel tips and information on child-friendly activities and attractions in Singapore. Other in-room kids amenities include childrens bathrobe and room slippers, organic shampoo, childrens toothbrush.

As part of the package, Ask Alfred includes a charity element where the young guest will be able to pledge a portion of the proceeds from Ask Alfred to Touch Community Services of their choice.

Mr Lim Boon Kwee, Senior Vice President for MCIL, said, Christmas is a season of giving, and in launching Ask Alfred, we also hope to spread a little cheer to the beneficiaries of Touch Community Services at Orchard Hotels festive Glass House.

Touch Community Services is a not-for-profit charitable organisation officially registered in 1992, and has been a member of the National Council of Social Service since 1994. Over the last 19 years, Touch has reached out to many individuals from all religions and races, including children, youths, families, people with special and healthcare needs and the elderly. It started in 1986 as a service for latch-key children, and has today grown to become a multi-service organisation with an integrated network of 17 services, 10 centres and 12 children's clubs located at different parts of Singapore.

The Snowmens Glass House is Orchard Hotels Christmas theme for this year. Taking more than three months to construct, the two-storey house is the centerpiece of the festive celebrations at the hotel and is adorned with a family of over 100 life-size snowmen all around the Glass House of Christmas goodies.

Ask Alfred is available at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Orchard Hotel, Copthorne Kings Hotel, M Hotel and Studio M Hotel.
