Accor has signed the management contract for the Novotel Bangkok Impact.

Being developed by IMPACT Exhibition Management, the Novotel Bangkok Impact, which is in Nonthaburi province to the north of Bangkok, will open in early 2011.

This newly built hotel with 380 guest rooms and suites is to be integrated within the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center complex which has an indoor useable space of over 140,000 square metres and provides facilities and services for some of Asia’s largest events including the tennis tournament PTT Thailand Open 2010, the Thailand International Motor Expo 2010, and Motor Show 2011.

“Accor is very excited with this new project,” said Oswald Pichler, Vice President of Operations for Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. “The Novotel brand is one of Thailand’s most recognised international hotel brands and with this new location within the Impact complex, the brand will reach a new segment in the events and exhibition market. In many locations throughout the world the Novotel brand is present as a part of major exhibition and event facilities and is well positioned to cater to the upper mid scale business and events traveller.”

The 380-room 10-storey high hotel will feature two restaurants, a bar, swimming pool and fitness centre.
