To celebrate the carriage of twelve million
passengers on Wednesday, Tiger Airways has put 120,000 seats on
offer at 0 cents excluding taxes. This significant milestone comes
less than two months since the eleven millionth mark was achieved
on 10 December 2009.
Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director of Tiger Airways
Singapore said, “Tiger Airways has been growing faster and faster.
We have taken less than two months to hit this new millionth mark,
while it took two and a half months to reach the 11th million from
10 millions. This is hardly surprising given our low, low fares,
growing fleet and destinations, the latest one being Hong Kong.”
The 0 cent fares (one way, excluding taxes and
charges) are for selected flights between Singapore Singapore and
five Southeast Asian destinations – Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala
Lumpur, Kuching, Langkawi and Penang. Travel periods vary for each
route.
These crazy deals are now available for booking
until 10 February 2010, while stocks
last at tigerairways.com. Terms and conditions apply.
Tiger Airways’ 12
millionth passenger was presented with Sin$500 worth of Tiger
Airways travel vouchers and a commemorative flight certificate.
The passenger was flying from Hong Kong on TR925 and arrived at
Singapore at 4pm.
