VistaJet, one of the world’s largest private
aviation companies, is set to continue its expansion plans in 2010
by growing its fleet of new Bombardier aircraft and dedicating
more jets to its developing markets such as Asia, which it
believes will grow into another major center for private aviation
over the next decade.
Thomas Flohr, Founder and Chairman of VistaJet,
said,
“2010 will be a very important year in the continued development
of VistaJet. We have strengthened our management team by
appointing former Marquis Jet founder and subsequent Vice Chairman
of Net Jets Europe, Rob Hersov to chair our new advisory board.
“We plan to expand the fleet again in 2010 and a proportion of
these jets will be dedicated to our key growth areas including
Asia. We are seeing increasing demand for travel in and out of
countries such as China, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore and
expect these areas to continue showing good business growth. We
already have several aircraft a day travelling across the region
and expect that figure to increase in 2010.
“Although not
as mature as more established markets such as Europe and the US,
we expect Asia to be a real powerhouse of private aviation in the
next 10 years and as a company VistaJet is investing in the region
to meet the expected demand.”
VistaJet offers customers two flight solutions – Program or
On-Demand. The Program Partnership Solution is built around
customers who fly often, more than 100 hours per year, and want
guaranteed availability and the consistency of a luxury journey.
The On-Demand Solution is for customers who fly only occasionally,
but when they do, it’s a very special trip and they expect the
VistaJet luxury for their family or their business colleagues.
VistaJet has a Learjet 60 XR and Challenger 850 on
display at the
Singapore Airshow
(2-7 February 2010).
