Solare Hotels & Resorts to Run on an Enterprise Hotel CRS

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 31 August 2010

Solare Hotels & Resorts has launched an enterprise centralized reservation system (CRS) solution with centralized rates and inventory management for its five distinctive brands: Chisun Inns, Chisun Hotels, Chisun Resorts, Loisir Hotels and Solare Collection.

Solare has become Trust International’s newest customer, engaging Trust for CRS reservation and distribution services, including domestic internet booking engine distribution, that fully integrate with Solare’s property management systems (PMS).

“Trust International has shown its commitment to the Japanese market by creating the industry’s first truly comprehensive Japanese CRS that is comfortable for us to use in all areas,” said Mr. Tony Virili, Chief Executive Officer of Solare. “Rather than managing separate systems to handle domestic and international business, as most Japanese hotel chains do, we are the first to have a completely integrated system. We are now able to introduce rate parity across all domestic and international channels and enjoy the cost savings afforded by maintaining one system rather than two. The cooperation and support of our hoteliers and Trust International have been a winning combination that provides us with a distinct competitive advantage.”

“This is our first step in introducing an enterprise solution which will eventually fully integrate our PMS, CRS and CRM,” added Mr. Jack Tan, Chief Information Officer of Solare. “Solare Hotels & Resorts made the decision to invest in a new CRS during the economic downturn so that we could enjoy the rewards when the market turns around.”
