Victor Lopes Appointed as MD of Kuoni Destination Management - Japan

Victor Lopes has been appointed as the new Managing Director for the Kuoni Destination Management sales offices in Japan.

He assumes his new responsibilities with immediate effect and succeeds François Roca, who has decided to pursue other career opportunities outside the company.

Victor Lopes re-joined Kuoni Destination Management in March 2010 as General Manager South Asia, based in Singapore. He worked for Kuoni Destination Management from 1997 until 2006, as General Manager Operations and then General Sales Manager, East Japan.

From 2006 until rejoining the company this March, he held the position of Managing Director of Universal Netlink Ltd.

Victor has excellent trade-relevant experience, as well as profound knowledge of Europe as a destination, and has a strong business network in Japan.

He will report directly to Olivier Moeschler, Senior Vice President Sales Offices Asia Pacific & USA, based in Hong Kong.

Victor Lopes’ previous position of General Manager South Asia will be managed on an ad-interim basis by Olivier Moeschler until a successor has been found.
