Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Friday, 16 July 2010

Finnair is to increase direct flights to Hong Kong. Instead of the previous seven flights, Finnair will fly to Hong Kong with a frequency of 12 flights per week from June next year.

“Finnair's position in traffic between Asia and Europe is strengthening continually. Our Asian strategy is working really well, and demand has grown strongly. In addition to the extra flights to Hong Kong, we recently announced that Finnair will open a new route to Singapore in May 2011,” said Finnair's SVP Communications Christer Haglund.

Finnair currently operates scheduled flights to 11 long-haul destinations, with a long-haul fleet that consists of twelve wide-bodied aircraft.
