Danielle Keighery appointed as GM of Public Affairs @ Virgin Blue

Virgin Blue has appointed Danielle Keighery as General Manager of Public Affairs. Ms Keighery will lead the airline’s communications team, effective 17 May 2010.

Ms Keighery’s appointment follows the departure of Heather Jeffery who is stepping down after 5 years in the role of General Manager Public Affairs.

Ms Keighery has worked with the Virgin Group since 2003 in various senior marketing, communications and PR positions in the Asia Pacific region.

An experienced communications manager, Ms Keighery was previously based in London where she ran global PR for a division of Nokia and prior was the Corporate Communications Director for Nokia Australia.
