Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya in Mexico to Host Wellness Yoga Retreats

The Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya, Mexico is to host a Wellness Yoga Retreat, a four-day holistic program taught by a skilled team of in-house yoga instructors and offered for both novice and advanced students from 24-27 June 2010 with future programs scheduled 26-29 August 2010, 23-26 September 2010 and 21-24 October 2010. Group programs can also be arranged anytime throughout the year for four or more individuals.

Guests will have an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing break at this AAA Five Diamond hideaway resort located on Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula while restoring their mind, body and soul. Throughout the weekend, guests will experience Asana and Pranayama yoga sessions, diet and nutrition class and quiet time for meditation.

The Wellness Yoga Retreat comprises:

• Accommodation for three nights in a Selva guest room with garden and water canal views
• Daily yoga classes in the morning and afternoon with highly experienced instructors, and designed to accommodate both beginner and experienced yoga students
• Daily guided meditations
• Specialized nutritional diet created by the Spa’s culinary and wellness team (includes all meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Choice of one spa treatment: Mayan Na Lu’um Massage or Mayan Tzolkin Ritual
• Complimentary use of Heat and Water Therapies including Steam, Sauna, Vitality Pool

 Rates start from US$ 2,155 (single occupancy) and US$ 2,815 (double occupancy) for the three-night stay as described above, plus tax and service charge.

A naturalist’s paradise, Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya features protected mangrove reserves and crystal-clear water from tranquil lagoons and streams, highlighted by a spectacular cenote, a deep, freshwater reservoir sacred to the ancient Mayan.
