EgyptAir to Increase Heathrow Services

EgyptAir is to increase its flights to London Heathrow to 18 weekly direct flights.

EgyptAir currently operates 11 weekly flights after the addition of the two afternoon services starting 4 December 2010. In addition to 7 weekly codeshare flights onboard the Star Alliance member, bmi. Now EgyptAir has 4 afternoon services on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

EgyptAir also operates daily morning flights operated with the newest A330-300 which is equipped with the WI-FI internet and Mobile connectivity onboard. Also, this aircraft has Lay Flat Bed seats in Business and personal screens in all classes which enable the customers selecting from hundreds of entertainment options.

Capt. Alaa Ashour, EgyptAir Chairman and CEO said, “Our current strategy focuses on increasing the frequencies on the main routes. Our statistics show that the demand is increasing on this route which links the customers with other British cities such as, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburg, Aberdeen and Belfast, thus, the company decided to add more frequencies on this route.”
