A Hard Rock Cafe is scheduled to open in Macau in the first quarter of 2011. The Hard Rock Cafe Macau, the brand’s second Hard Rock Cafe location in China, will join the Hard Rock Hotel, as one of the city’s premier live entertainment and casual dining destinations.

Located on level two beside City of Dreams Casino, Hard Rock Cafe Macau will include spacious seating, vibrant bar, live performance area, a Rock Shop featuring Hard Rock’s limited-edition merchandise and rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia from Hard Rock’s iconic collection.

“We are very excited to launch Hard Rock Cafe Macau early next year, which will further expand City of Dreams’ entertainment offerings and bring our guests yet another exciting and vibrant live entertainment venue,” said Mr. Nicholas Naples, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Operations, Melco Crown Entertainment Limited. “Hard Rock Cafe Macau and Rock Shop will complement the existing line up of unique entertainment offerings found within Hard Rock Hotel, its themed casino, Rock Spa and Hard Rock pool at City of Dreams integrated resort.”

Hard Rock Cafe Macau will be owned and operated by Viet Thai International Company Limited, the company’s second Hard Rock venture following its inaugural location in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

“We are honored to be selected as the preferred collaborator to work with both Hard Rock International and City of Dreams to bring the Hard Rock Cafe experience to Macau,” said Mr. David Thai, Founder and CEO of VTI. “We are big fans of the Hard Rock brand and look forward to future expansion and growth of the brand in the region.”
