Singapore-based GHM has
appointed Stefan Noll as General Manager of The Chedi Club at
Tanah Gajah, Ubud.
Stefan joined GHM in November
2005 as Club Manager at the formally GHM managed property, The
Club at The Leela Goa, before being transferred to The Legian in
Bali in 2007. Over the last two years at The Legian, Stefan has
played an integral role as Executive Assistant Manager in the
continued success of the resort.
Educated in
Germany and Switzerland, Stefan began his career in hotel
management in Germany before moving to London to spend a number of
years at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel in various Food and
Beverage Management positions.
The Chedi Club at
Tanah Gajah is set in a large private estate in the foothills of
Bali’s spiritual centre Ubud, with spectacular views of Mount Agung
and the famous Balinese rice terraces.
The Chedi Club at Tanah Gajah which
opened in July 2004, takes its name from the nearby Goa Gajah
elephant temple and features twenty self contained suites and
villas which are spread throughout five hectares of
gardens surrounded by rice paddies
unbroken by borders or fences.
The property features three One-Bedroom
Spa Villas and nine One-Bedroom Pool Villas, in addition to the
Two-Bedroom Estate Villa and seven One-Bedroom Suites.
