Hospitality industry veteran, Peter Tudehope, has been
appointed Regional Manager for Australia and the Pacific by Carlson
Hotels Worldwide – Asia Pacific.
The role is part of CHW-AP’s plans to strengthen
its existing regional portfolio as well as grow over the next four
years, focusing on a number of core markets, including Australia
and the Pacific.
Tudehope takes up this new
responsibility, in addition to his current role as General Manager
of the Radisson Plaza Hotel Sydney.
Under Tudehope’s leadership at the Radisson
Plaza Hotel Sydney, the hotel earned a number of high profile
awards including the coveted Carlson President’s Award which is
awarded to hotels which excel in quality and cleanliness,
marketing and sales, revenue generation and deliver total guest
satisfaction.
Tudehope was also the recipient of Carlson’s Esprit
Award earlier this year, which is given annually to top managers
who establish high levels of employee and guest satisfaction,
profit growth and are strong ambassadors of their hotel
brands.
Prior to managing the Radisson Plaza Hotel
Sydney, Tudehope worked at the CHW-AP corporate office, helping
develop the company’s luxury brand – Regent Hotels & Resorts. His
role was later expanded to assist with the development and growth
of the group’s other brands with a key focus on Radisson. He
also spent 12 years at The Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney as Executive
Assistant Manager.
