JetLite Reschedules Flights due to Runway Closure at Cochin Airport

JetLite, Jet Airways’ wholly-owned all economy subsidiary, has rescheduled certain flights on Delhi / Hyderabad / Kochi sectors necessitated by a runway closure at Cochin International Airport from 8 to 9 April 2009, and from 11 to 13 April 2009.

JetLite flights S2 241, S2 242, S2 255 and S2 256 will all be revised.

JetLite is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jet Airways India Ltd. and was acquired by Jet Airways in April 2007. Positioned as an all-economy airline, JetLite currently operates a fleet of 24 aircraft, which includes 17 Boeing 737 series and 7 Canadian Regional Jets 200 Series. The airline flies to 28 domestic destinations and 2 international destinations (Kathmandu and Colombo), currently operating 114 flights a day, on average.
