Hong Kong Disneyland has confirmed it is to launch a
new flat ticket price structure, which will apply all year round.
Effective February 9, 2009, the resort will remove the existing tiered
(peak and non-peak) pricing structure across the Park’s three guest
categories: adult, child and senior.
Under the new flat ticket price structure, adult
and child Park tickets for overseas guests for all days will be
realigned at HK$350 and HK$250 respectively. Senior Park tickets
will have a flat price of HK$170 for all days. As a special
promotion, there will be no change to the prices of Hong Kong
residents’ Park tickets (adults and children) for the next six
months.
Aliana Ho, Vice President, Sales and Travel
Trade Marketing of Hong Kong Disneyland, said, “The introduction
of our new flat ticket price structure comes with increased
discount entitlements for both our contracted wholesalers and
retail travel agents. It simplifies the administrative process,
making it easier for our Asia-wide travel agent network to manage
and sell Park tickets.”
The resort will also introduce a special coupon book,
“A Thousand Kisses from Hong Kong Disneyland”, which will be
distributed exclusively through trade channels, to encourage
pre-arrival sales from overseas markets.
The coupon book provides savings of over
HK$1,000 to overseas guests. This all-new sales tool is designed
to motivate overseas guests to purchase Park tickets exclusively
through trade outlets prior to departure. Redemption of the
coupons will begin on March 6 and run through June 30, 2009 to tie
in with major holidays in several Asian countries.
Some highlights of the coupon book savings are:
a host of 20% to 50% food and beverage discounts; HK$30 off the
purchase of HK$300 worth of consumables; 20% off a body and/or
facial treatment at the Victorian Spa at the Hong Kong Disneyland
Hotel; and a free gift for purchases over HK$800 when using a Visa
card. The coupon book also has a ‘must-visit checklist’ of the
Park’s dazzling entertainment and attractions, as well as a memory
keeping journal featuring an animated ‘running’ Mickey Mouse.
