New General Manager at Kuoni Destination Management in Atlanta

Charles A. Van Elten has been appointed General Manager of Kuoni Destination Management's sales office in Atlanta, USA. In this position, he succeeds Roland Zuehlke who left Kuoni Destination Management to pursue further career opportunities outside of the company.

Charles A. Van Elten is a specialist in sales and marketing, with many years of relevant experience. He has held positions in various business segments including the travel sector. His most recent appointment was that of "Director, Field Sales - North America" for a river cruise holiday company.

Charles A. Van Elten obtained his education in Australia and in 1987 he became an associate member of the Australian Marketing Institute. Since the beginning of his professional career in 1996, he has become a member of the Atlanta Chapter of SKAL International (travel executive organisation) and is a guest lecturer at the Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia, USA.

In his function as General Manger, Charles A. Van Elten will be responsible for overseeing all operational, sales and marketing activities of the Atlanta sales office, and will manage a team of 15 employees. He will report directly to Olivier Moeschler, Vice President Sales Offices Asia Pacific and USA, who is based in Hong Kong.
