The Plaza Hotel has launched a Shopaholic
Weekend in New York promotion, in honor of the film based on Sophie
Kinsella’s bestselling book. The package combines luxurious
accommodation with world-class shopping and entertainment.
With the package, guests will receive one night
in a Plaza Hotel guest room or suite; a private consultation at
the famed American jewelry designer Kenneth Jay Lane’s boutique
located in the Plaza Retail Collection; complimentary skincare
consultation and brow shaping at Plaza Beauty by Warren-Tricomi,
the well-known stylist to the stars; dinner for two at The Oak
Room, one of New York City’s most elegant venues to enjoy
award-winning chef Joel Antunes’ signature dishes; and signature
drinks for two at the uber-chic Rose Club, a favorite amongst
celebrities.
The promotion is valid until end 2009 with rates beginning
from
HK$6165 per night based on double occupancy.
The package rate
is based upon availability and exclusive of tax. Amenities are
offered once during stay. Two day advanced booking is required and
a 48-hour cancellation policy does apply to avoid penalty. This
offer is not applicable to group bookings of ten or more and
cannot be combined with any other special offer.
One of New York’s most distinctive landmarks,
The Plaza Hotel, recently underwent a HK$3.1 billion, three-year,
lobby-to-roof renovation. The Plaza offers 282 guestrooms and
suites, with rooms inspired by the Louis XV style of French décor,
impeccably adorned with custom-made furnishings, meticulously
selected decorative accents and rich fabrics. The Plaza is also
one of the only hotels in the world to offer 24-karat gold plated
Sherle Wagner sinks and fixtures, delicately cradled in
hand-crafted solid white marble vanities, in every bathroom.
