Tom Racette joins HotelTravel.com as Chief Communications Officer

Tom Racette has joined HotelTravel.com as Chief Communications Officer, based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Phuket, Thailand.

Tom has over 20 years experience in Asia with a diverse professional background in journalism, advertising and public relations.

He joins HotelTravel.com from Paris-based Accor Hospitality, where he was Director PR & Communications – Asia since 2001 and responsible for a network of over 120 hotels in 12 countries.

Tom is also an experienced journalist and editor. Prior to joining Accor he was the Bangkok Bureau Chief for TTG Asia for 7 years, responsible for covering Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar. In 1998, London-based UN Miller Freeman appointed him Managing Editor of PATA Compass when the publication was re-launched in 1998.
