This year at the highly anticipated 2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix, 35 lucky ticket holders will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive Formula One drivers autograph session on the evening of Thursday, 24 September at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The winners will also gain access to a pre-event cocktail reception that includes a preview of the 2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix by Star Sports Formula One commentator Steve Slater before the drivers arrive.

To participate, 2009 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix ticket holders must register their ticket transaction number (found on the confirmation email or receipt) on the official Singapore GP website.

Applications for the draw will close on 16 September 2009 (11.59pm, Singapore Time). Each of the 35 winners will receive a pair of tickets to the autograph session; winners will be randomly selected by ballot and notified by email.

In addition to the drivers autograph session and Grand Prix’ only night race circuit, ticketholders will have access to an exciting line-up of international music artists from 25 through 27 of September. Eight locations within the Marina Bay Street Circuit have been designed to showcase world-class acts like Backstreet Boys, Chaka Khan, Youssou N’Dour and more.

The carnival atmosphere will come to life from 8pm to midnight each evening with local acts like jazz singers Alemay Fernandez and Dawn Ho, rock bands London Fog and Electrico, as well as groups like drumming troupe Wicked Aura Batacuda, visual arts group Slack Taxi, and comedian Austin Flowers.
