Wider Seats Return to British Airways’ Club Europe

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Friday, 28 August 2009

British Airways is to reintroduce its wider seats in the Club Europe cabin from 2 September 2009.

Mark Hassell, head of customer experience said, “Over the last few months we have asked our customers for their preference on seating and the majority want the wider seats back. We will also continue to guarantee our Club Europe customers a window or aisle seat. As these are converter seats the installation is simple and there is no extra cost.”

Club Europe customers will continue to benefit from a dedicated Club check-in area, generous hand and checked baggage allowance, access to the Galleries Club lounge, complimentary dining and drinks and fast track immigration through T5.

“We always listen to our customers – we recognise they have a choice of who they fly with and we want it to be us every time. Club Europe is now at its best, never before have we combined wider seats and a guarantee for either a window or an aisle seat. We are confident that they will love the changes to the cabin,” added Mr Hassell.
