The Media One Hotel, scheduled to open in Dubai this October, has appointed Ms. Cora De Conceicao-Stuart as General Manager.

De Conceicao-Stuart is responsible for all aspects of the hotel, from the pre-opening phase through to opening and onward operations.

With over 23 years of experience within the hospitality sector, most recently as Hotel Manager of The Address Hotels and Resorts, Downtown Burj Dubai, De Conceicao-Stuart is well positioned to take up the helm at Media One Hotel.

Speaking about her new position, De Conceicao-Stuart said, “This is an incredibly exciting time for me. I was attracted to the opportunity of being part of Media One not only because it is a new hotel opening but also because we are launching and introducing a new brand. Media One is going to be a very new and fresh alternative within the hotel and hospitality sector here in Dubai.”

A graduate of The Singapore Hotel Training and Education Centre, De Conceicao-Stuart’s career began at The Westin Stamford and The Westin Plaza in Singapore where she held a variety of sales positions.

From here she moved to the Shangri-La Hotel as Assistant Director of Sales before embarking on a ten year career path with Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Singapore, Boston and Bahrain.

This great, geographically diverse career path has provided her with a wealth of international experience in the hospitality business.

In 2006 De Conceicao-Stuart played an instrument role in the pre-opening and opening of the Bvlgari Bali Hotel before embarking on a path as Hotel Manager at The Address Hotels & Resorts, Downtown Burj Dubai. De Conceicao-Stuart led her team to resounding success when the hotel opened last year to great critical acclaim.
