Linda Scully joins Carlson Hotels as Director of Human Resources

Carlson Hotels has appointed Linda Scully as Director of Human Resources for Asia Pacific. Scully is based at Carlson Hotels’ regional corporate office in Singapore.

Scully takes up this role following five years of experience with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, Scully was with Four Seasons in Sydney where she was responsible for the property’s overall human resources strategy, and successfully introduced various talent retention programmes. Prior to that, she worked at the Four Seasons Resort in Langkawi, Malaysia where she was an integral member of the luxury resort’s pre-opening team. She set up the entire human resources department and spearheaded recruitment, training, industrial relations and manpower planning.

Scully also worked with the United Nations Development Programme in the Asia Pacific region, where she was responsible for training and development.

At Carlson, she will continue to focus on training and development, and promoting the group’s “Yes, I Can!” service philosophy, which encourages every employee to make decisions and empowers them to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.

Carlson Hotels has an aggressive Asia Pacific growth strategy in the pipeline and is currently focussing on key regional markets including China, India, Thailand and the South Pacific. It is also one of the largest international hotel operators in India.
