As part of Shangri-Las Villingili Resort and Spa, Maldives bespoke Dine By Design service, guests will be able to enjoy meals served at a variety of special locations around the resort prepared by the resorts culinary team.

From a jungle themed dinner amid the resorts lush vegetation, to lunch on the equator aboard a luxury yacht, a selection of special dining options awaits guests at Shangri-Las Villingili Resort and Spa, Maldives when it opens this summer.

Guests looking for the resorts most unusual dining location can choose to experience a torchlit dinner under the banyan trees of the resorts jungle. Surrounded by lush vegetation and just a few steps away from the beach, this is a perfect way for guests to celebrate an anniversary, a honeymoon or simply enjoy each others company.

For guests wishing to venture out of Villingili, dining in style will also be possible. Be it for a picnic basket to be savoured on a neighbouring beach or for a barbecue lunch on an uninhabited island, the resorts chef will prepare meals to match every location.

As the magical hour of a tropical sunset arises, guests can enjoy a drink at one of the resorts secluded beaches or take in the full view of the ocean while sailing an authentic Maldivian boat called a dhoni. Alternatively, guests can participate in a wine tasting on the seashore followed by a gourmet dinner paired with the finest wines.

Shangri-Las Villingili Resort and Spa, located on Addu Atoll, will feature 142 villas with views of the ocean or the islands natural lush vegetation. The Maldives second international airport, Gan International Airport, is an eight-minute boat ride away from the resort and Mal International Airport is 70 minutes by domestic flights operating around the clock.
