The Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit, scheduled to open by early 2010, has appointed Den Navarro as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Navarro joins the pre-opening team of Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit after having worked with some of the world’s leading hotels in the Middle East and Asia for over a decade. He was previously with Carlson Hotel’s luxury brand in China, The Regent Beijing, as assistant director of Sales and Marketing.

Prior to that, Navarro was with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts in the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates where he played an integral part in achieving one of the strongest occupancy performances for the group’s Traders Hotel in Dubai.

“Thailand is one of our major regional focus markets and Den’s relevant experience in the international hospitality industry and with Carlson Hotels Worldwide, will certainly make a difference in our efforts to build the Radisson brand in Bangkok and beyond,” said Frank Trampert, executive vice president, Revenue Generation – Asia Pacific, Carlson Hotels Worldwide.

Located in downtown Bangkok along one of the city's best known districts - Sukhumvit Road, the 150-room Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit is close to major attractions, restaurants, shopping and entertainment outlets.
